ACT and SAT Testing

Students are required to take the ACT or SAT for admission into college.  All Wisconsin school accept the ACT.  Some schools on the east or west coasts may require the SAT over the ACT.  Registration packets are available in the Roncalli Guidance Office or you can register online at www.actstudent.org for the ACT or www.collegeboard.com for the SAT.  When students register for the ACT, they will be asked to register either for the ACT or the ACT plus writing.  At this time, the only schools in Wisconsin that are requiring the writing portion are U.W. Madison and Marquette.  Look on the ACT website if you are looking at schools outside of Wisconsin to see if the writing test is required.  Be sure to include the high school code: 501-188 to ensure that your results are sent to Roncalli.  You can get your results sent to up to 6 colleges at no cost.
